High quality with excellent performance
Boasting a 25.4cc petrol engine with a primer bulb and choke, the Mitox 26L-SP Select is an easy machine to start with high performance operation assured. This uses a full crank system to increase performance, lower vibrations and extend service life when compared to half crank engines. You also have the benefit of a quality, strong gearbox, featuring heat-treated gears for performance and durability, giving reliable power to the head.
A versatile machine that’s a pleasure to operate
This model functions as both a grass trimmer and a brushcutter, supplied with both a nylon line head and a metal blade. The blade is 255 mm and is perfect for working on thicker grass and brush, while the nylon head is an auto bump version that allows you to renew the line as it wears simply by tapping it on the ground, without switching off the engine.
Handling the unit is made easy with a strap harness and loop handle, enhancing comfort and reducing strain over long periods. It can also be split in two for simpler storage and transportation, with an aluminium coupling.
Important Fuel Guidance for Mitox 2-Stroke Products
Mitox and the manufacturer recommend initially using a mixture of high-quality forecourt fuel (E5) and 2-stroke oil, blended to the correct ratio as specified in the product manual.
For long-term use and to ensure optimal performance, we strongly recommend transitioning to a long-life alkylate fuel, such as Aspen. This helps to maintain engine reliability, reduce harmful emissions, and prevent long-term fuel-related issues.
Following this guidance will help extend the lifespan of your Mitox 2-stroke product and keep it running smoothly. Always refer to your user manual for detailed fuel-mixing instructions.

Works ok if you can start it, which isn’t easy, has gone to back to dealer for repairs twice in its first 8 months of use. Currently totally out of use, have ordered another make as can’t wait on repairs every few months.
