An aerator cartridge for the Allett Stirling 43
This non-driven aerator permeates the soil with small holes to allow air, water, and nutrients to pass through more easily, in turn encouraging roots to grow deeper which creates a healthier, thicker, more luscious lawn. Aerating also helps with soil compaction by allowing more water into the soil profile. The cartridge measures 17 inch and is part of Allett's ultra-change system, meaning it can be switched in and out of the Allett Stirling 43 cylinder mower in as little as 7 seconds.
Do you need to aerate your lawn?
If you remove a small profile of your lawn about 4 inches deep and there is a layer of thatch taller than half an inch, you need to give your lawn some breathing space and aerate it.
