An extremely powerful 600W electric hedge trimmer.
The HSE 71 from STIHL is a 24 inch / 60 cm blade tool with low stroke rate and high torque, perfect for thicker branches.
Get an excellent cut
The 24 inch / 60 cm cutting blade is laser cut and ground using diamond discs. These hardened cutting edges are highly resilient and remain sharp for a longer period of time. Because this tool has STIHL’s triple switch system, your working range is increased, allowing you to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. The hedge trimmer has a 2-stage reduction gear with low stroke rate and high torque, ideal for tougher, thicker branches.
Comfortable control
This tool comes with a 5-position rotary handle with an integral armrest. You can choose from five settings between 0 and 90 degrees in either direction. The hand guard is transparent so you can get the best-possible view of what you are cutting, and a cable strain relief system prevents the cord from becoming accidentally disconnected. The cable provided is 0.5 metres long as standard.

The HSE 71 is covered for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase by the owner, when used for the designed purpose of that product by domestic users. Terms and conditions apply. Garden Machinery Direct will register the warranty with STIHL for you.

Heavy, and under powered – tiny cable that needs an extension. Used once and then asked if I could return as the product is rubbish – company said they won’t change anything after one use – even if it’s rubbish

Excellent machine and copes with all types of hedges well. Only down side is they have made the lead very short and put a 13amp plug on.

Great product, cuts brilliantly! I didn’t think to look at the weight, gets heavy after a little while…..
But, that’s my miss. Still think very good…..
Oh and you need an extension lead, comes with a very short (1 metre lead)
