The foldable spacer bracket protects plants, posts, and edges from accidental damage during trimming. It helps you work closely around trees, fences, or flowerbeds. You can fold it up when not required, giving you greater flexibility in tighter areas.
Automatic Line Feed for Less Disruption
The FSA 57 comes with the AutoCut C 3-2 mowing head. If the nylon line wears down, simply tap it on the ground to release more. There’s no need for manual threading or tools. You can also fit the PolyCut 3-2 head, which uses plastic blades.
Battery and Charger Sold Separately
This listing includes the trimmer shell and AutoCut C 3-2 head. However, you’ll need a compatible battery and charger to operate it. We recommend the STIHL AK 10 battery for balanced weight and performance. Any AK battery from your STIHL collection will also work.

The strimmer (shell) and an AutoCut C 3-2 nylon line head are included, but a battery and charger aren’t included but are required for operation. You may use any AK battery and compatible charger from your fleet, otherwise these will need to be purchased separately. The recommended battery is the AK 10 for optimum performance

A. It depends on the conditions and what is being cut, but on average a single charge of the recommended AK 10 battery will provide up to 25 minutes of operation which is around 625 m of lawn edging or 125 m2 of lawn.
