Protection and control.
The UMC 435 has a D-loop handle and barrier for protection and manoeuvrability. The D-loop handle is perfect for jobs that require finesse or tight handling not provided by wider handle styles. Such a precise level of control makes the UMC 435 perfect for small, difficult to reach areas.

The UMC 435 is powered by Honda’s 4-stroke GX35 micro-engine. This 35cc engine is an industry first, packing power into a compact size. With a 4-stroke engine there’s no need to pre-mix oil and fuel– simply fill the tank with petrol.
At 35cc, the UMC 435 outstrips the GX25 powered brushcutters in Honda’s handheld range. This more powerful engine let’s you tackle even the most stubborn of garden challenges, and despite the bigger engine the UMC 435 still maintains a light weight, which allows you to manoeuvre as you see fit. This more powerful brushcutter is perfect for professional users who want the most out of their machine, or domestic users who need the extra bit of power to get an especially tough job done.
A mechanical decompression system combined with an ultra lightweight flywheel gives the machine an easy start every time – the rope pull weight is only 7.2kg! A belt driven Over-Head Valve and multi-chamber exhaust and a sophisticated air intake system results in a machine that is quiet to operate.
To keep your Honda petrol machinery running at its best, use standard pump fuels such as SP95, SP98, or SP95-E10.
While Honda doesn’t supply alkylate fuel, its use is permitted.
It’s important to always add a fuel stabiliser, especially if you’re storing fuel for more than a few weeks, as this helps prevent engine issues and keeps the fuel fresh.
Fuel should be stored in small amounts (no more than 5 litres) in a sealed container, away from heat and sunlight. Use within one month unless treated with a stabiliser.
At the end of the season—or if the machine won’t be used for a while—it’s recommended to drain the fuel tank and follow the storage advice in the user manual.

Quality product. Easy start and great performance. Very well built but quite heavy with attachments and extension pole. The only criticism I can make is that I think the harness could be better designed to give greater support. Otherwise I highly recommend this product.

I am a die hard Honda fan since owning a Honda lawnmower for the past 20 years that still starts first time and my latest purchase did certainly not disappoint.Perfect tool that you can buy many attachments for. Starts up easily first time. I bought this along with the long hedgetrimmer attachment and the long extension, it made short work of trimming and topping a 16ft laurel hedge cutting through it like butter without the need for a ladder. It is a really powerful tool with the quality you expect from Honda and I would highly recommend it.
